“The harder when you work for something, the greater you will feel when you achieve it.”

After a few months of preparation, Malaysian Business Student Summit has finally come to an end. For your information, Malaysian Business Student Summit (MBSS) is an annual prestigious event organized by the University of Malaya Business Club and it is currently in its 10th Anniversary since its inception in the year 2012.

Many thanks to the seniors for giving me this opportunity to become one of the organizing committee of MBSS 2021. It is my 2nd event since I entered the university. Throughout this long and tough journey, I really learnt a lot. I did gain a new skill which is Adobe Photoshop skill and learn how to design a formal poster. Moreover, I did improve in time management and learn how to balance between my studies and co-curricular activities. I met a lot of new friends too! We cheer and give support to each other throughout this preparation.

First and foremost, special thanks to all the participants for joining our 4 days virtual summit and supporting us. I was one of the primary facilitators and guided the group throughout the summit. Surprisingly, we kept chit-chatting, supporting each other and spamming a lot of funny stickers in the WhatsApp group. It is good to say that we became close to each other during these 4 days. Sincerely hope that everyone enjoys every program that we have prepared for a long time and gain valuable experiences through the event highlights.

Thanks to the MBSS organizing committee. They really worked hard and burned a lot of midnight oil to prepare the event. Multiple times of meeting, test run and rehearsal made us really tired but now hard work pays off, we are really grateful for the positive feedback from the participants that gave us a lot of motivation and confidence to continue to work hard in the future.

A lot of thanks to the members of publishing department, they really teach me a lot of new things in designing posters. They guided me to use the Photoshop and gave me advices on editing posters. Many thanks for the assistance. I really appreciate your guidance and look forward to work together in the future.

Thanks to the conference speakers who came to give us such informative talk and share their opinion about the importance of starting up e-commerce especially during this pandemic. The whole session is fun and I really enjoy their interaction throughout the conference.

Thousand thanks to the mentors and judges of the business challenge who gave a lot of fruitful comments and shared their advice for the business plan of each group. The business ideas of each group are really creative and unique. I am really impressed by the presentation of every group during the pitching session. They utilize their skills and knowledge into the business plan, present their business solution and answer the judges’ questions calmly. I believe every participant learns about the basic understanding of how to conceptualize a business and improve their personal problem-solving skill through the business challenge.

Also thanks to the companies @CapitalDynamics @AirbelTechnologies @TheStoryBerhad @Maybank @NestleMalaysiaBerhad @GTI Media who came to give us a talk about their company cultures and their thoughts about current trends to enable all of us to have better exposure to the corporate world and provide a clearer vision.

Last but not least, many thanks to the event partners who sponsor our event. Thank you for your support to make our event become successful!

Joining MBSS gives me a good and valuable experience. I don’t regret joining this big family. Now, I officially signed off as a junior executive of the publishing department in MBSS 2021.

Inspire, Integrate, Initiate. Let’s break through the innovation.
